The W/s dataflow depicts the rate at which the logger is writing log records from log buffers to disk for the database or partition that you are monitoring.
None
At each refresh, Spotlight captures the number of log writes per second at the database or partition level and displays it just above the write rate dataflow. You can use the Metric Editor to customize thresholds for the metric behind this statistic to generate appropriate alarms.
The line graph that overlays the dataflow plots the log write rate captured over the series of refreshes that have occurred during the Spotlight session.
You can adjust the thresholds for the metric behind this graph to generate appropriate alarms. Additionally, by default, this metric uses a moving average to plot graph points. You can adjust the moving average formula or turn this feature off for the metric.
Use the Metric Editor to modify the thresholds or the moving average for the metric behind this graph.
Click the W/s dataflow to open the Databases drilldown. This drilldown provides details about the database or partition that you are monitoring. The Log Status tab on the drilldown is in immediate focus to so you can examine database log parameters and log status statistics.
