Files Closed

The total number of database files closed for this buffer pool during the last monitoring interval. The database manager opens files to read and write pages into and out of the buffer pool. The maximum number of database files that an application can open at any one time is controlled by the MAXFILOP configuration parameter. If an application reaches this maximum, the database manager closes one file before opening the new file.

Note: The actual number of files opened might not equal the number of files closed.
