To restore the entire VM and establish a new version of that VM in Hyper‑V Manager, select Recover entire VM to host and/or cluster. |

To restore specific files to a location specified by you, select Restore files from inside VM guest OS to specified location. |
CAUTION: The Delete working directory contents after recovery option is selected by default. Do not clear this option unless instructed to do so by Quest support. |

If you do not want to remove the restored files from the temporary location after a successful recovery, clear the Delete working directory contents after recovery option. This option is selected by default. |
The final steps include setting additional options on the Schedule, Source Options, and Advanced Options pages, submitting the job, and monitoring the progress through the Job Status and View Logs pages. In Job Name, specify a name for the job if you do not want to use the default setting. |
