Global database I/O panel

The Global Database I/O panel on the instance home page provides an overview of the read and write activity across all databases in the DB2 instance. For I/O rate information for a particular database or database partition, go to the appropriate home page, or access the Databases drilldown.

Instance-level data is presented for the following types of I/O:

Synchronous Reads/Writes 

Asynchronous Reads/Writes

Total Reads/Writes

Direct Reads/Writes

Log Reads/Writes
