Microsoft Hyper-V 環境における Dell DR2000v の導入の前提条件

DR2000v 導入の最初のステップは、関連付けられた DR アプライアンス内での DR2000v ライセンスのインストールです。詳細に関しては、本書の「DR2000v のライセンスの設定」のトピックを参照してください。
 
これらの前提条件を適用できるのは Microsoft Windows 2008 R2、2012 および 2012 R2 向け Hyper-V 環境です。
Microsoft Hyper-V に Dell DR2000v を導入して DR2000v Hyper-V cmdlet を使用するには、次の前提条件が満たされていることを確認します。使用可能な DR2000v Hyper-V cmdlet の詳細に関しては、本書のトピック「Hyper-V 用 DR2000v でのサポートされているコマンドレットの使用」を参照してください。

このソフトウェアは、Pre-Requisites（前提条件）フォルダから容易にアクセスできます。DR2000V の OS バージョンのリリースにより、前提条件ファイル名は異なる可能性があり、別のアップデートが必要になることがあります。

Microsoft .Net Framework 4.5
 
便宜上、オンラインとオフラインの両方のバージョンの .NET 4.5 を、.NET セキュリティアップデートパッケージと利用できます。この導入の場合は、.NET Framework 4.5.1 のオフライン完全インストールオプションを、.NET の 2 つのセキュリティアップデートファイルと一緒に使用します。

Windows PowerShell 4.0 のインストール

Windows リモート管理（WinRM）バージョン 2.0 のインストール

Hyper-V での Codeplex からの PowerShell 管理ライブラリのインストール
この前提条件は、Hyper-V 用の PowerShell 管理ライブラリを提供するオープンソースプロジェクトです。これは Microsoft Public License（MS-PL）に基づいています。バイナリは、https://pshyperv.codeplex.com/releases からダウンロードできます。
•
R2 SP1 バージョンをダウンロードして PreRequisites ディレクトリに保存します。
•
この製品は署名されていないため、PowerShell 実行ポリシーを Unrestricted（制限しない）に設定する必要があります。これを行うには、権限を引き上げて PowerShell でコマンド、Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted を入力します。
•
実行ポリシーを変更するには、「y」を押します。
•
サーバーを再起動します。
HyperV.zip の内容を管理サーバに抽出した後、コンテンツのブロックを解除する必要があります。これは、Windows がインターネットからダウンロードしたスクリプトをブロックするように試みるためです。コンテンツのブロックを解除するには、Windows エクスプローラを使用して、次の手順を実行します。
1.
Windows Explorer を開いて、HyperV の一時フォルダに移動します。
2.
フォルダ内の先頭のファイルを右クリックし、Properties（プロパティ）を選択します。
3.
ファイルのプロパティが表示されたら Unblock（ブロック解除）と OK をクリックします。フォルダ内のすべてのファイルにも同じ手順を繰り返してブロックを解除します。

すべてのファイルをブロック解除したら、HyperV フォルダを %WINDIR%\System 32\WindowsPowerShell\v 1.0\Modules\ の場所に移動します。

次の PowerShell コマンドを実行して、このライブラリからモジュールをインポートします。

Hyper-V 管理ツールのインストール

デジタル証明書をインストールします。
1.
Windows エクスプローラを開き、ダウンロードした Hyper-V パッケージの bin ディレクトリにある DELL-DR2000v.dll ファイルにナビゲートます。
2.
DELL-DR2000v.dll ファイルを右クリックし、Properties（プロパティ）をクリックします。
3.
Properties（プロパティ）ウィンドウでDigital Signatures（デジタル署名） > Details（詳細） > View Certificate（証明書の表示）にカーソルを移動します。
4.
Certificate（証明書）ウィンドウでInstall Certificate（証明書のインストール） > On local Machine（ローカルマシン）を選択し > Next（次へ）をクリックして、Trusted Publishers（信頼された発行元）証明書ストアの下に置きます。
5.
OK > Next（次へ） > Finish（完了）をクリックします。

Deploying DR2000v on a local Microsoft Hyper-V host

NOTE: Ensure all the pre-requisites are complete before deploying the Dell DR2000v on a local Hyper-V host. For more information, see the topic, “Prerequisites for deploying the Dell DR2000v in Microsoft Hyper-V environments.”
 
NOTE: These deployment steps are applicable to Windows 2008 R2, 2012, and 2012 R2 Hyper-V hosts.

To deploy the Dell DR2000v on a local Hyper-V host:

1.
Run the Dell DR2000v command script from the install package.
A command line deployment wizard is displayed with the following options:
a.
LOCAL
b.
REMOTE
c.
CONTROL PANEL
2.
Type option ‘a’ for local deployment and press <Enter>.
The following ACTIONS are displayed:

Deploy
◦
Start
◦
Stop
◦
Delete
◦
Repair
3.
Type action ‘1’ to deploy and press <Enter>.
4.
Type the appropriate DR2000v Hyper-V name and press <Enter>.
The following options to select storage size are displayed:
a.
1TB Data Storage Size
b.
2TB Data Storage Size
c.
4TB Data Storage Size
 
NOTE: Windows 2008 R2 version of the DR2000v does not offer 4TB data storage option.
5.
Type option ‘a’, ‘b’, or ‘c’ as appropriate and press <Enter>.
The DR2000v Hyper virtual machine code is now deployed and this process will take approximately 2–3 minutes. A message is displayed showing the deployment progress, that is creating of new DR2000v template, processing the DR2000v image, and populating the virtual machine with DR2000v configurations. A message appears when the deployment has completed successfully
6.
When prompted to deploy another DR2000v, type ‘y’ for yes or type ‘n’ for no as appropriate and press <Enter>.
The Local Deployment menu is displayed again.
7.
Type option ‘2’ and press <Enter> to start the DR2000v virtual machine to self extract the installation packages and install all the DR2000v components.
8.
Enter the name of the DR2000v virtual appliance to start.
9.
When prompted to start another DR2000v, type ‘y’ for yes or type ‘n’ for no as appropriate and press <Enter>.
The Local Deployment menu is displayed again.
10.
Next launch Hyper-V Manager. Navigate to Start Menu > Administrative Tools > Hyper-V Manager.
The Hyper-V Manager window is displayed.
11.
Select the host where DR2000v VM resides.
12.
Right-click the DR2000v VM and select Connect to view the installation process
Depending on your system resources, it may take 10 - 20 minutes to self extract installation packages and components.
13.
After installation, proceed with the initial setup and configuration of the DR2000v as described in the topic, “Configuring the DR2000v” in this guide.

Prerequisites for deploying the Dell DR2000v on a remote Hyper-V host

For any DR2000v deployment, the first step is to install the DR2000v license on an associated DR Series system appliance. For more information, see the topic “Setting Up the License for the DR2000v.”

Ensure that the following prerequisites are met before deploying the Dell DR2000v on a remote Hyper-V host:

Both local and remote hosts/servers must have similar operating systems. For example, you cannot deploy a DR2000v with a Windows 2008 R2 host to a Windows 2012 R2 server.
2.
Ensure that enough space is available on the remote machine before you start to deploy the DR2000v.
3.
Ensure that the following software requirements are included in both local and remote server/hosts:

.NET Framework 4.5
◦
Windows PowerShell 4.0
◦
Windows Remote Management (WinRM) v2.0
4.
Ensure you have administrator privileges or you must be a member of the administrator’s group.
5.
Extract the downloaded DR2000v installation package on the Hyper-V host to access its files. It may take a couple of seconds for the files to be extracted. Before executing the Hyper-V installation process, the software pre-requisites are to be met.
 
NOTE: This software is easily accessible from the Pre-Requisites folder. The prerequisite file names may change due to different DR2000v OS versions and also other updates may be required.
 
NOTE: For your convenience, both online and offline versions of .NET 4.5 are available with the .NET security update files and Microsoft Management Framework 4.0 package.
6.
Ensure that the following Windows commands are run on both local and remote hosts:
◦
Install-WindowsFeature Hyper-V-Tools – This command enables Windows to administer Hyper-V.
◦
Install-WindowsFeature Hyper-V-PowerShell – This command installs additional PowerShell commands specialized for Hyper-V.
◦
Set-ExecutionPolicy AllSigned – This command allows scripts signed by a trusted publisher to be run on a Windows server.
7.
You can run commands on one or hundreds of computers with the following single PowerShell command syntax:Invoke-command —computername server01, server02, —scriptblock {command-to-run}. For more information on Invoke command, go to technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd347578.aspx.

Use PowerShell to issue the three commands prerequisites to both local and remote systems, for example:

Invoke-command —computername localserver01, server02, server03 –scriptblock {install-WindowsFeature Hyper-V-Tools}
◦
Invoke-command —computername localserver01, server02, server03 –scriptblock {install-WindowsFeature Hyper-V-PowerShell}
◦
Invoke-command —computername localserver01, server02, server03 –scriptblock {Set-ExecutionPolicy Allsigned -Force}
8.
Install the digital certificate using the Certificate Import Wizard:
a.
Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the DELL-DR2000v.dll file in the bin directory of the downloaded DR2000v package.
b.
Right-click the DELL-DR2000v.dll file and click Properties.
c.
On the Properties windows, go to Digital Signatures > Details > View Certificate.
d.
On certificate windows, click Install Certificate > select On local Machine > Next and place it under Trust Root Certification Authorities and Enterprise Trust certificate stores.
e.
Click OK > Next > Finish.

After the prerequisites have been met and drive capacity requirements are changed, you are ready to deploy the DR2000v on a remote Hyper-v host. For more information, see the topic “Deploying DR2000v on a Remote Hyper-V Host”.

Changing the storage paths for Hyper-V deployment

The capacity requirements of the DR2000v are beyond 200GB. For example, if a 2TB DR2000v is to be deployed a 2.2TB storage capacity will be required.

If an alternate storage location is required for the DR2000v virtual appliance due to capacity limitations or for other reasons, the remote Hyper-V host Virtual hard disks and Virtual machine paths must be changed before the DR2000v is deployed.

To change the storage paths:

Log on and connect to the remote machine using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) using the following command: mstsc /v:<remote server IP address> .
For example: mstsc /v:127.0.0.1.
2.
Open the file manager and identify the volume that has free capacity for DR2000v deployment.
3.
Create a folder in this location.
4.
With the storage needs identified lets change the Hyper-V virtual machine storage locations. From local machine, navigate Start Menu > Administrative Tools > Hyper-V Manager.
The Hyper-V Manager window is displayed.
5.
Connect to the host where the DR2000v will be deployed.
6.
Right-click the host and select Hyper-V settings option.
The Hyper-V settings window is displayed.
7.
Change both Virtual hard disks and Virtual machine path settings with the same new path and click OK.

The DR2000v Virtual machine is ready to be deployed.
