Spotlight Connection Manager

To open the Spotlight Connection Manager

  1. Click Configure | Connections.

  2. Select the type of connection from the Connection Bar to the left.
  3. From within the Spotlight Connection Manager:
Action Procedure
Add a new connection See "Connections" (page 1) for more information.
View / edit the properties of a connection

Right-click the connection and select Properties.

See "Connection Properties Dialog - Details Page" (page 1) for more information.

Delete a connection

Right-click the connection and select Delete.

Note: If you have customized the alarms set for this connection or the scheduling information then those customizations will be deleted when you delete the connection. You can backup your customizations before you delete the connection by backing up the \Agent\Conf directory in the Spotlight on SQL Server installation directory.
