Transactions tab

The User Transaction chart breaks out the transaction activity for a process selected in the User Activity grid.

The "Count" is the total number of transactions generated by the process.

The value "Committed" is the number of committed transactions completed by the process.

The "Rolled Back" metric is the number of transactions not completed by the process and subsequently rolled back.

Transaction activity is a good measurement of general performance by a user. If the total or committed numbers do not increase over a period of time, either the process is inactive or it may be hung or blocked.

Look at the CPU and I/O charts to see if any activity for the process is being noted there.

*Available only for Adaptive Server versions 12.5.0.3 or later
