Unexpected problem has occurred in Index Fragmentation screen, error: "Could not convert variant of type"
Description
User right clicks in the fragmented indexes page, and selects generate defrag script option. An error occurs, stating that an unexpected problem has occurred.
Cause
Error occurs if user reorganized the column, i.e. drag the “Average Fragmentation” column to a non-default place.
Resolution
Right-click on the fragmentation grid and select “Restore Default Settings”. Reopen Spotlight.
