• Description

  This self-paced, web-based training course is available for FREE to all users. This course is the second module of a two part SharePlex – Maintaining and Optimizing your SharePlex Environment curriculum. After SharePlex has been deployed and has been operating in a customer’s environment, a customer may need to tune their existing SharePlex instance or troubleshoot an issue. This course is intended to help the SharePlex Administrator optimize performance following recommended best practices.

  There is a test that correlates to the course. This test is just a knowledge check of what you have learned.

• Audience

  This course is designed for SharePlex Administrators that are needing to optimize and troubleshoot their existing SharePlex implementation or deployment.

• Prerequisites

  • Oracle Database Knowledge
  • SharePlex Administration experience
  • Linux/Unix Administration experience
  • Pre-existing SharePlex environment

  • Determining which SharePlex module is experiencing the issue
  • Locating the error message
  • Searching SupportLink and SharePlex documentation for the error message
  • Resolving the issue or collecting appropriate information to forward to SharePlex support

• Format

  Students complete this course through self-paced web-based training. This course provides the participant the opportunity for hands-on practice resolving real-world problems through use case driven simulations. Each lesson contains closing questions allowing for a knowledge check. There is a test that correlates to the course.
