How to import multiple source paths from a .txt or .csv file
Description

Source paths in the Copy Locations tab of the Secure Copy job can be created by Browsing or typing in necessary paths.
In some jobs, it is necessary to pick and choose certain files and/or folders out of very large share, or create a large number of Source paths that exist on different devices.
Cause

For example, hundreds of non-contiguous user folders need to be moved out of a share containing thousands of users, or selected users and files associated with their work have to be moved to a new location.
Resolution

Create a Comma Separated Value (CSV) file containing the desired paths using Notepad or Excel'
* One path per line. Use UNC or familiar drive path definitions.
* Do not use file separators such as commas or semi-colons.
* Each path ends with a Carriage Return line separator.
* Do close each path with a back slash ( \ ) at the end of every line
1. Open the job in the Secure Copy console and select 'Copy Location'
2. Click 'Import' and navigate to the .CSV file containing the source paths
3. The desired paths will enumerate in the Source section of Copy Locations
