Cause
This is because Admin$ share is disabled.

Resolution
Recovery Manager for Active Directory requires at least the Admin$ share to be enabled to deploy the agent for backup. The C$ share is not required to perform a backup.
Enable the Admin$ share to resolve this issue. -
Additional Information
This affects all versions of Recovery Manager for AD.
