Title
Bare Metal backups fail with encryption turned on. -
Description
When checking "Encrypt and protect backups with password" the BMRs appear to work.
With encryption enabled, BMR backups fail with the following error: "Unable to perform request (114). Unable to encrypt a volume with BitLocker." -
Cause
The issue can be caused by 'Enforce drive encryption type on fixed data drives' policy set to 'Full encryption'. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
If you set the policy to 'Allow user to choose (default)' or 'Use Space Only encryption', the BMR backups work fine.
