Can RMAD Standard or Basic perform a forest recovery? -
Resolution
RMAD Standard \ Basic will only perform a system state restore of the Domain Controllers, it will not seize/transfer FSMO (Flexible single master operation) roles as this process is performed automatically with RMAD FE's recovery console, therefore, RMAD Standard will only restore the DC's backup state. manual effort will be needed in order to move the FSMO roles, support from Microsoft will be necessary.
