Perform these steps if you need to create a VM on Azure to host a Rapid Recovery 6.x Core. That Core serves as the destination (target Core) for recovery points backed up on a 6.x Core you maintain on premise.
The view expands. In the VM details pane, do the following:
In the Selected deployment model field, verify that Resource Manager appears.
NOTE: The Create virtual machine pane and the Basics pane both appear.
|Name||Enter your name.|
Spaces and other special characters are not
|User Name||Enter the username you want to use as credentials to,authenticate to this VM.|
|Password||Enter the password you want to use as credentials to|
authenticate to this VM.
Passwords require three of the four following
characteristics: At least one lowercase character, at least one uppercase
character, at least one number, at least one special character (such as !, @,
#, $, %, *, etc.).
|Subscription||Select the appropriate subscription model.|
|Resource Group||Select the appropriate existing resource group, or select, +New and define a new resource group. For more information on resource,groups, see Azure documentation.|
|Location||Select the appropriate location.|
