Errors when Migrating from Groupwise Server: "Unable to connect to the remote server No connection" -
Description
When attempting to Migrate from Novell GroupWise the following error is encountered for every mailbox:
"Unable to connect to the remote server No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it <Server Name Or IP>:7191" -
Cause
This error will be encountered if the OnDemand Migration for Email cloud servers are unable to establish a soap connection with the Novell GroupWise server on Port 7191. -
Resolution
WorkAround:
Ensure that Firewalls are configured to allow Communication to the Novell GroupWise server on port 7191 from the internet. If it is required to restrict access, please review the following KB solution on how to determine the IP addresses being used by OnDemand Migration for Email:

Note: If migrating from GroupWise 2012, it is recommended to upgrade to GroupWise 2012 SP2 or later for best performance.
