When running migration using On Demand Migration for Email (ODME) with an administrator account with the Full Access permissions, results in the following error in the migration log:
The account does not have permission to impersonate the requested user.
The ODME service is designed to use Application Impersonation to migrate user's mailboxes.
Note: Full Access permission will not work with ODME.
Depending on the version of Microsoft Exchange being used, Application Impersonation can be granted. See the following solutions for more information:
Use the "End User Credentials" Option on the Connection settings for your migrations plan. When specifying Mailboxes for migration you will then need to specify the End Users password for each mailbox. In this scenario rather than using Application Impersonation the migration logs into the mailbox as the User account that owns it.
