Latch Tuning Progress Page
When you click Start Optimizing to find the optimum value for SPIN_COUNT, this page tracks the progress of the attempt.
To open the Latch Tuning Progress Page
- Select the Spotlight on Oracle connection in the Spotlight Browser.

Click Tuning | Latch Page | Latch Tuning Progress.
Controls on the Latch Tuning Progress Page

Current Spin Count |
The current value of the SPIN_COUNT parameter. |

Start optimizing |
Start the optimization by opening the Latch Tuning Configuration Dialog. |

Cancel |
During optimization, you can cancel the process when you reach an acceptable value for SPIN_COUNT. |

Cancel and Restore |
Cancel the optimization process right now and restore SPIN_COUNT to its original value. |
