Under User Interface, click Notification. In the Notification dialog box, under Mail Server, configure the following options. |
Specify a user account that can be used for SMTP authentication. This option is only required if the Perform Authentication check box is selected. If no user account is specified, the user name from NetVault’s E‑mail Address is used for authentication. For example, if you specify “User-A@mycompany.com” in the NetVault’s E‑mail Address box, NetVault uses “User-A” to perform SMTP authentication.
Select this check box to use the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) instead of nvsendmail with the EHLO and HELO commands. NetVault uses the host name in mail server messages, so the system must be set up with an FQDN to display the host name in FQDN format.
