Database Requires Change in Edition

The Database Requires Change in Edition alarm is invoked when a SQL Azure database, whose edition is Web, is nearing its maximum capacity limit, to notify that it is advisable to consider changing the database edition to Business.

Database Reaching Current Limit Capacity

The Database Reaching Current Limit Capacity alarm becomes active when the percentage of the database’s utilized space is nearing the current storage limit defined for the database, as part of its database edition settings.

Database Wrong Edition Used

The Database Wrong Edition Used alarm becomes active when a SQL Azure database, whose edition is Business, has a reserved size that is much lower than the minimum size charged for this edition. The rule notifies that it is advisable to consider saving costs by changing the edition type to Web.

Database Current Limit Resized

The Database Current Limit Resized alarm becomes active when the database’s storage limit is resized.
