Check Authority Events Rule

Purpose

This rule checks if the authority events are enabled. Disabled authority events are not reported to the queue manager.

Authority events report an authorization attempt, such as an application trying to open a queue for which it does not have the required authority, or a command being issued from a user ID that does not have the required authority. Authority events are a type of queue manager events. For more information about other types of events, see Events Tab View .

Check Channel Auto-Def Events Rule

Purpose

This rule checks if the channel auto-definition events are enabled. Disabled auto-def events are not reported to the queue manager.

Channel auto-definition events indicate the outcome of the channel auto-definition operation. Channel auto-definition events are a type of channel events. For more information about other types of events, see Events Tab View .

Check Inhibit Events Rule

Purpose

This rule checks if the inhibit events are enabled. Disabled inhibit events are not reported to the queue manager.

Inhibit events indicate that an MQPUT or MQGET operation has been attempted against a queue, where the queue is inhibited for put or get operations. Local events are a type of queue manager events. For more information about other types of events, see Events Tab View .

Purpose

This rule checks if the local events are enabled. Disabled local events are not reported to the queue manager.

Local events indicate that an application local to and including the queue manager, cannot access a local object, such as a queue. Local events are a type of queue manager events. For more information about other types of events, see Events Tab View .
