About Toad Edge®
Toad Edge® is a database management application that allows you to perform database administration tasks with ease.
Toad Edge® allows you to:

- Obtain detailed information about your databases
- Manage data stored in your database, add, edit or remove records

In Toad Edge® 2.12, the following new features were implemented:
General features
Detailed Explorer for RedShift Views and RedShift Procedures
You can use Detailed Explorer for Views and Procedures in RedShift.

Note: RedShift inherits all of its grammar from PostgreSQL. Therefore, RedShift specific syntax is not support by the Toad Edge parser. Due to this limitation, its not possible to view the DDL scripts of RedShift objects. You can check the feature comparison of RedShift with other platforms in KB 4370937. |
Database features
Support for MySQL
- Toad Edge now supports connecting with MySQL 8.4.
Support for MariaDB
- Toad Edge now supports connecting with MariaDB 11.4.
The following is a list of enhancements implemented in Toad Edge 2.12
- Toad Edge now supports the following:
- Remove unnecessary plug-ins from Toad Edge CLI installation
- Outline View for Redshift Views and RedShift Procedures
- Detailed Explorer for views in RedShift
