New features

New reports

New reports have been introduced:

·Inactive Premium Licenses: This report shows users who have been assigned Visio, Project, and Power BI Pro licenses, but are not actively using them. These users could have these licenses removed to save on licensing costs.

·Inactive Licenses: This report lists disabled user accounts and inactive users who have assigned licenses. Consider removing the licenses from these users to save on monthly license costs.

·Entra ID admins that are not native cloud accounts: This report shows cloud administrator roles that have been assigned to non-native cloud accounts. Consider removing the administrator permissions from these users to improve the overall security posture of the tenant.

·License Downgrade Opportunities: This report shows users who have been assigned E3 or E5 licenses who are potential candidates to downgrade to a lower tier license. These users do not have recent activity and their usage suggests that they could be assigned a more appropriate license. Consider downgrading these users to save money on licensing costs.

·Admin accounts without MFA enabled: This report shows admin accounts that do not have multifactor authentication enabled.

Known Issues

The following is a list of issues, including those issues attributed to third-party products, known to exist at the time of release.

·With Nova it is possible for a delegated administrator to assign a manager to a user.  In a hybrid environment if the user is still on-premise then assigning the manager will not work.

·A delegated administrator in Nova may not be able to create a new Office 365 group. They will not receive an error message, but the job to create the group will fail.

oWorkaround: If the customer organization requires specific prefixes in naming a group they must be entered by the delegated administrator in order for the group to be created. For example if an organization requires all groups to start GRP-somename, then that needs to be entered when creating the new group.
