This message is commonly associated with attempting to create a printer on a print server where the target printer already exists (the print server itself).
1. Configure the validation logic of the Printer element to prevent the installation of the printer on the print server.
2. This issue may also occur because of an Active Directory issue. The printer may be marked to "List in Active Directory", but was not added correctly. To resolve this issue, open the "Print Management" Administrative tool on the print server. Then drill down to the "Printers" link on the left-hand pane. The affected printer should be on the right-hand pane. Right-click on the printer and choose "Remove from Directory. Then right-click again and choose " List in Directory. This will readd the printer to Active Directory and may resolve the issue. For more information on the "Print Management" Administrative tool, please click on the link below.

3. Finally, Check the printer and ensure that it is an IP printer. If it is and it is being mapped via Desktop Authority as a network printer, try mapping the printer as an IP printer.
To MANUALLY Test adding of printer and determine if there is a system problem:
Take the \\servername\printer that is specified for the Desktop Authority Printer element, copy and paste it into the START | RUN command, and hit “Enter”. The printer should be added to computer and be available. If it does not, there is an Active Directory, Server, Network, or possible PC issue occurring.
