Configuring Windows Remote Management (WinRM) using winrm quickconfig (4295397)

1. Confirm that the "Windows Remote Management" service is running on the remote server
   
   
2. Open a Windows command prompt as an Administrator
   
   
3. From the Windows command prompt, enter winrm quickconfig or the abbreviated version winrm qc
   
   
4. If the command is successful, the following should appear
   
   
5. Set WinRM to allow an unencrypted connection by running the command winrm set winrm/config/service @{AllowUnencrypted="true"}
