Log onto the domain controller.
Open services.msc
.
Locate the "Desktop Authority Administrative Server" and "Desktop Authority Update Service".
Right-click on each service and select 'Stop' to halt their operation.
Open an administrative Command Prompt.
Run the following commands to delete the services:
sc delete Desktop Authority Administrative Service sc delete Desktop Authority Update Service
Important Considerations:
While the above steps provide a manual method of uninstallation, executing them on sensitive systems like a domain controller might not always be advisable, especially if there are potential database remnants. As a precaution, our support team strongly recommends installing the DA console on a development server. Add the servers you intend to work on to this environment, and then proceed to remove the services from there. This ensures a safer and more controlled environment for service removal.
