In order to upgrade agents to a new version some steps need to be verified:
- Download the latest client bundle from here (remember to download the agent bundle that matches your appliance's version
- On your SMA appliance, browse to Settings | Provisioning | Update Agent Settings
- Confirm in the Agent Settings section Enabled is selected.
- Choose to Send the Upgrade to All Devices or a Set of Devices (defining a Smart Label)
- Scroll down to "Manually upload Agent Bundle" section and Browse for the KBIN file obtained in Step 1.
- Click Upload.
- Verify the Advertised Updates version Changed and click Save.
After this, Agents will start receiving the new installation files and will update on their own, keep in mind this may take a while if the agents are busy with other jobs, these jobs will take priority (Inventory, Patching, Scripting, Managed Installs).
