Why does my upgrade not automatically upgrade my KACE SMA agents? -

The KACE System Management Appliance upgrade does not automatically upgrade your agents because older (but recent) versions of the agent are usually compatible with the newest version of the software, but it is always recommended to have agents running in the same build you are using with the SMA. -

After an upgrade, agents are not automatically upgraded. -
해결 방안
In order to upgrade agents to a new version some steps need to be verified:
- Download the latest client bundle from here (remember to download the agent bundle that matches your appliance's version
- On your SMA appliance, browse to Settings | Provisioning | Update Agent Settings
- Confirm in the Agent Settings section Enabled is selected.
- Choose to Send the Upgrade to All Devices or a Set of Devices (defining a Smart Label)
- Scroll down to "Manually upload Agent Bundle" section and Browse for the KBIN file obtained in Step 1.
- Click Upload.
- Verify the Advertised Updates version Changed and click Save.
After this, Agents will start receiving the new installation files and will update on their own, keep in mind this may take a while if the agents are busy with other jobs, these jobs will take priority (Inventory, Patching, Scripting, Managed Installs).
