The initial replication succeeds but all other replications fail with multiple errors.
The size of the scratch disk on the VA was set too low. The size of the scratch disk use the formula:
Total size of largest VM to be replicated divided by 2, multiplied by the number of replication you wish to perform simultaneously.
Recreate the scratch disks using the formula above, but doing this will cause the next replication job to take longer to run because the vzmap files will have to be recreated by vRanger by comparing the source and target VMs, this process is called rehashing the disk(s).
The scratch disk can be recreated by following the Changing Virtual Appliance Configuration in the vRanger Installation guide starting on page 98, http://us-downloads.quest.com/Repository/support.quest.com/vRanger/5.5/Documentation/E/vRanger_5.5_InstallationGuide_RevA.pdf
If you would like to keep the data of previous replication jobs passes please use the following kb to extend the VA scratch disk, https://support.quest.com/SolutionDetail.aspx?id=SOL93259. By following these steps your replication jobs should continue from where they left off and should be quicker then a full pass replication job or a job that has to rehash the disk information.
