A particular template machine fails to backup. vRanger reports the following error each time:
An internal error occurred during execution, please contact Quest support if the error persists. Error Message: 3201 - can't open [DATASTORE] VM_NAME.vmdk
There is a potential problem with the registration of this VM Template.
1.A simple vMotion of the VM template to a new host .
2.Refresh the inventory in Ranger,
3.Re-run backup of the template again.
4. If that works, you should be able to vmotion the template back to the original host.
