Error message when running a vRanger backup: could not contact host
Possible licensing issue
Possible credentials issue
Check to make sure that the ESX server is licensed for vRanger
1. Click on Tools menu -> Options
2. Select Licensing -> Hosts
3. The ESX server should be selected (has a checkmark) for Backup
Re-credential the ESX servers in vRanger
1. in vRanger, go to the My Inventory screen
2. Right click on the ESX server and select Credential Properties
3. Re-enter the Password(s) and click the Connect button
4. If successful, exit out of the vRanger and restart the vRanger services
