QKP install error - "The specified Web site was not found on the IIS server" -
Description
During installation of QKP, you may receive the following error:
"The specified Web site was not found on the IIS server" -
Cause
This is known to occur on OS running IIS7. Per the "Quest Knowledge Portal Install Guide" the IIS feature "IIS 6 Management Compatibility" is required for correct functionality.

Resolution
Install the feature "IIS 6 Management Compatibility" on the server and attempt the installation again.
