Error: "Datasource error in historical connection for <SERVERNAME>: DataSourceSOM configura (4324048)

After creating an connection in the Diagnostic Console and they trying to connect you get the error:

"Datasource error in historical connection for <SERVERNAME>: DataSourceSOM configuration file not specified in registry"

1. Make sure User Account Control (UAC) is turned off
2. Right click on the Spotlight Icon and run as administrator or right click on the Spotlight Icon and select properties click on the Compatibility Tab and check off the Run this programs as an administrator box and click OK
3. Make sure the Spotlight on Messaging Service account is a local administraor on the workstation that the Diagnostic Console is open on.
