Recovery Manager for Active Directory was installed with the option to use Report Viewer to view reports and you would like to use SQL Server Reporting Services for reports.
Recovery Manager for Active Directory was installed with the option to use Report Viewer instead of SQL Server Reporting Services for reporting.
1. Open "Add/Remove Programs" or "Programs and Features", select Recovery Manager for Active Directory, then click "Change".
2. Click the Reports drop down box and select Entire feature will be unavailable then continue through the wizard with defaults until it is finished. This will uninstall the reports viewer option, no other configuration within the product will be changed.
3. Open "Add/Remove Programs" or Programs and Features, select Recovery Manager for Active Directory, then click "Change"
4. Click the Reports drop down box and select Entire feature will be installed on the local hard drive and click Next.
5. Select "Do not install SQL Server 2005 Express Edition" and click Next.
6. Enter the SQL server and login credentials and click Next.
7. Select Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and enter the Microsoft SQL Reporting Services server address (http://servername.domain.com/ReportServer) and click Next.
8. Continue through the wizard with defaults until it is finished.
Note: This process will drop the original database and create a new one. Ensure the account running the setup has sufficient access on the SQL server to create a database.
