Description
Copy jobs fail to run, or returns the message “the CSV file is not correctly formatted” when imported into Secure Copy.

Cause
The CSV (Comma Separated Value) file was created using Microsoft Excel and the option to ‘Save As’ a CSV file was selected. Excel “wraps” the text using invisible characters.

Resolution
Use Notepad to create the file and select ‘Save As’ using ‘All Files’ type, and add the .CSV extension.
