What happens when you increase the age criteria for a strip message policy?
For example; What would be the behavior if you create a policy that strips messages that are 60 days or older on a mailbox and then days, weeks or months later apply a policy that states strip messages over 90 days to the same mailbox? What will happen to the messages that are 60 days or older but not older than 90 days? Will they remain stripped?
Once a message is stripped it will remain stripped in the database until it is opened using the either Outlook Form or synchronized using our Offline Client.
Using the above example: Messages that are over 60 days that were stripped by the first policy but not older than 90 days will remain stripped until one of these two things happen. Once they are 'un-stripped' they remain in Exchange until they meet the newer policy criteria.
