How to have Multiple Topology Viewer's and Diagnostic Consoles installations?
Please see the User Guide for instructions of a distributed install for Unified Communication Command Suite Diagnostics.
In the meantime, you can install the Diagnostic Services and Database on a production Server and then have the end users install the Topology Viewer and Diagnostics Console on their workstations. They will need to be logged into the workstations as local administrators with local admin rights to the Exchange Servers and Exchange Admin rights so they can work with both the Viewer and Console.
You could install all components on the production server but you would either have to use Terminal Services or Remote Desktop for other users to access the Viewer and Console.
The Diagnostic Console doesn't connect to the Database so each instance will be separate from all other instances.
The Topology Viewer does connect to the Database so the first one connected is the Administrator and configuration can be done but all other Topology Viewers connecting to the database will be read only.
