A specific patch does not deploy to a client device (4316607)

A specifc patch does not deploy to a target device.  The K1000/KACE Systems Management Appliance appliance ran a “detection” on the patches, but never deployed the patch to the target device.  Why does this occur?

Items to check:

1. Verify that the client deviceis approved on the actual patch and also on the “Detect and Deploy” patching schedule.
2. Verify the patch subscription has the proper Operating System selected.

If the above two criteria are not met, the patch will not deploy.
