Mac OS X 10.11 “El Capitan” Support -
Description
We are continuing to monitor for Mac OS X 10.11 issues via testing and customer feedback. Service packs will be released later this year to address related bugs.. In the meantime, below is a list of known issues, which may influence your decision to leverage KACE products in support of Mac OS X v10.11 systems.

6.4 UPDATE: OS X 10.11 is now fully supported in version 6.4.120261 (SP1): https://support.quest.com/k1000-systems-management-appliance/kb/182781
K1000 Known Issues (6.3.113399 and 6.4.119927)
The following are known issues for OS X 10.11 compatibility on K1000 versions 6.3.113399 (Hotfix) and v6.4.119927 (GA):
- Patching – The K1000 patch engine requires a server update in order to successfully detect/deploy patches on Mac 10.11 systems
- Scripting – Some sample scripts are not completing successfully. Specifically the following:
- Shutdown a Mac w/Snooze
- Put a Mac to Sleep
- K1000 Agent Debug Log Enable/Disable
- Mac VNC
K2000 Known Issues
We will focus updates to address Mac OS X 10.11 compatibility on K2000 version 3.7 SP1.
- It is not possible at this time to create a NetBoot environment using a Mac OS X 10.11 install image.
3.7 UPDATE: OS X 10.11 is now fully supported in version 3.7 SP2
