KACE SDA license key isn't working and I just received it from Licensing -
Description
Received a new KACE Systems Deployment Appliance (SDA) license key from Quest licensing and the appliance won't accept it. -
Cause
Reasons for a new key:
- Upgrading/decreasing node count during the renewal.
- Just purchased a new appliance.
- Changing features purchased with the appliance.

Resolution
With the 5.0 release, the decision to improve the security of the license key has also changed and a new key design similar to the below example is now being provided:

NOTE: The above sample key is not real.
If a key like one above was sent to a customer, it will only work if you are in version 5.0 or greater. Request a license key that is compatible with the earlier versions (at license@quest.com).
