The Dell Updates Migration Report provides information regarding deprecated labels, smart labels, custom views, and reports after upgrade to KACE System Management Appliance version 11.1.
This report is designed to help identify the depreciated items which still remain in the SMA so that they can be removed or the queries can be adjusted.
If Samba is enabled: A file named hostnameDellUpdatesData.html can be reviewed by accessing your client share (e.g. \\hostname\client)
Note Samba can be enabled in Settings | Security Settings)
If Samba is disabled: A file named hostnameDellUpdatesData.html will be created in the backups directory which can be accessed via FTP.
Note FTP must be enabled in Settings | Security Settings)
Using a command prompt:
NOTE: The password above is the default password if you enabled Make FTP writable in the Security Settings of the SMA and did not enter a password. If this default password does not work it is because a new password was added.
Click Settings | Security Settings. Type the new password in New FTP user password box and scroll down and click Save and Restart Services.
This action will restart the services on the SMA!
Using an FTP Client:
