How to assign seat(s) or user(s) to a license?

Follow the below steps using the License Portal to assign seats for a license:
 

Note: The license portal provides Roles Based Access Control feature to make the management of licenses and people using those licenses easier. As prerequisite, the user account signed into the portal must have one of the following roles in order to assign seats:
 

• License Owner
• License Admin 

**If you don't have the necessary roles and can't perform the below steps, please contact your license administrator or the person in charge of purchasing the license to perform the below actions or grant you the Owner role using KB 4299816. To learn more about license roles see KB 4371130 .
 

Steps:

1. Locate the license that is to be transferred in the Personal Licenses or Organization Licenses dashboard and open the License Overview page.
2. Select the Seats tab.
3. Click the blue plus sign (Assign User) button.
4. Enter the email for the person and click Assign.

*Once assigned a seat, the team member can sign in and start using the product.

Alternatively, bulk assign seats to a number of team members:

1. From the Seats tab, hover over the blue plus sign button and click the blue up arrow (Bulk Upload) button.
2. Attach a CSV file to import with the emails for the team members that should have access to the product.
3. Once imported click Assign.
