Replication To-Do List Inaccurate (4299171)

When reviewing the Replication Schedule Detail page for a Replication Share, it is sometimes noted that the To-Do list shows a file that needs to be replicated, but that is also not in the list. This has been referred to as a ghost file awaiting replication. The file does not exist on the KACE Systems Management Appliance (SMA).

Below is an example:

To identify this situation:

1. Go to Reporting | Choose Action | New (SQL)
2. Provide a Title
   1. Example: Ghost Replication Files
3. Choose a Category or create a new one
   1. Example: Custom
4. Add the following SQL:
   1. select * from MACHINE_REPLITEM where ERROR != 0;
5. Save the report
6. From the Report list, Generate the Report
   1. Any format
7. Verify the report contains entries
8. Run on every ORG where this issue exists
9. Save the reports and attach them to your Service Request when you contact Technical Support

Note: Technical support will attempt to clear the current to-do list as a temporary resolution.
