Discontinued Support for the 12th Generation PowerEdge server platform (12G) (4298776)

Warranty support on the appliance hardware is available for up to five years from the date of purchase.

The warranty support can be annually renewed once the warranty support term ends for a maximum of five years from the original date of purchase.

Dell EMC PowerEdge 12G Server Hardware is no longer supported by Dell. The appliance hardware has a maximum 5 years of warranty support from the date of purchase.  The last supported date for the 12G hardware was May 2020.  As a reference, the Dell EMC PowerEdge 13G Server support is also based upon the 5-year purchase date, with the last possible support date of April 2023. 

It is important that the KACE appliances are running on production level hardware, which means that it should be under support from the hardware vendor.  This is true for both the legacy physical appliances as well as any server/host running a virtual appliance.

The Dell EMC PowerEdge Servers 12G Hardware reached its end of life as of May, 2020 and thus is no longer supported for KACE physical appliances.

Update: With the release of SMA 13.0 & SDA 9.1, it's not possible to upgrade Dell 12G Servers to this version.
