Description
Oracle has announced changes to ongoing support for Java SE (Standard Edition). This article describes these changes and how it will impact support for Java SE in January 2019 and beyond. -

Resolution
We will continue offering Java patches that are outside of Oracle's subscription plan on our Patching Catalog.
Since Oracle changed Java SE License, we no longer offer Java patches/updates released on or after April 16, 2019. This includes both JRE and JDK.
We offer OpenJDK patches as an alternative, as they are covered under the GNU General Public License (GNU GPL) version 2, which can be distributed to to enterprise customers, whereas Oracle patches can only be provided, at a cost.
We now also offer Amazon Corretto, which is a distribution of OpenJDK, on our catalog.
