It is possible that a handful of agent tasks may hang and cause subsequent tasks to suddenly stop processing. This issue can be caused by multiple situations (sudden network loss, sudden power loss, scripts getting stuck, ect), but is usually identified when normal task processing stops unexpectedly.

Though this issue can have multiple causes, it is being investigated under K1-19588 - Agent tasks can hang konductor and stop flow of tasks completely. The Product Team is expected to review and apply any necessary mitigation to future versions. Please see the resolution section for a work-around while this is being investigated.
