Migration of Quest Archive Manager Software
Migrations of Quest Archive Manager must be performed by the Professional Services Team at Quest and should never be attempted by customers. Attempting to perform a migration of the software without Professional Services could lead to serious problems with the Quest Archive Manager databases. Migrations are not covered by support contracts and must be performed by qualified staff.
Migrations of the software are a complicated procedure that requires modifying data tables in the SQL databases. As this process varies greatly by environment there is no standard procedure or documentation that we can provide about the process.
If you are needing to migrate Quest Archive Manager to a new server we recommend contacting sales at 800-306-9329 to get a quote for Professional Services to complete the procedure. Support will not assist in software migrations and there are no exceptions, support will only attempt to provide assistance to recover the original archive server.
