Description
ftiattachmentworker.exe encounters out of memory error when loading indexes.

Cause
The amount of memory used is not linear with the size of the cfs files, it is related to what is called Large Object Heap Fragmentation. The process attempts to allocate many small chunks of memory over a period of time. The result being that it runs out of contiguous memory space, meaning it cannot allocate the chunk it is trying to, even if there may be a cumulative amount of free memory available. There is no direct correlation between the size of the CFS files and the Out Of Memory Exceptions.

Resolution
The Full Text Index service is upgraded to 64 bits in version Archive Manager 4.6+.
Issue fix in version 4.6+. The latest version of Archive Manager can be downloaded at http://support.quest.com/support_download/downloads.asp
