The information in this article applies to:
Secure Copy 4.1.1
SYMPTOM:
File shares are copied to the incorrect cluster group on the target location.
CAUSE:
The wrong cluster name was entered on the Secure Copy option “Migrate File Shares - Cluster Group Name”. The name of the cluster was entered, not the cluster group name.
Secure Copy creates a cluster group in Windows Cluster Administrator, and copies file shares to that location. Moreover, it does not copy files shares to the cluster group desired.
RESOLUTION:
Make sure the correct cluster group name is entered on Secure Copy options “Migrate File Shares - Cluster Group Name” that you want the file shares to be copied.
Once the correct cluster group name is entered, it automatically finds the cluster name on the target, and copies the file shares to that location.
