The Temp folder for the service accounts profile in documents and settings is filling the hard drive with DAT files.
The Archive Manager Exchange Store Manager and the Journal users both use MAPI to make connections to Exchange.
For this they require a server level version of MAPI.
Outlook is installed on the Archive Manager server and therefore the Outlook version of MAPI is installed.
You must ensure that the Exchange Server version of MAPI is installed on the Archive Manager Server
1. Stop all Archive Manager Services
2. Remove the entire MS Office Suite
3. Remove the server MAPI component(CDO or Exchange System Manager) if installed
4. Reboot the Archive Manager Server.
5. Reinstall the server MAPI component.
6. Delete the DAT files, and also any additional profiles (000,001 etc.) that may have been created.
7. Start the AM Services.
