Assets with location custom field in 6.4 are not upgraded into new location field in 7.0 -
Description
The new "Location" asset field is not automatically populated with any custom fields that were used as the location in 6.4.
- A new "location" field is added to all asset types.
- Locations asset type is populated correctly.
- The location is not set in the computer assets. Instead, the old custom field for Location exists, and the new baked-in Location exists, which is unassigned.

Cause
This is a known defect, K1-19040. -
Resolution
There is no workaround or hotfix available for this issue. Please contact KACE Support for assistance. -
