"Error Message: 2712" - can't create the directory cifs -
Description
While doing a backup the backups fail with "Error Message: 2712" - can't create the directory cifs.

Cause
When reviewing the failed job the IP address of the repository is the wrong address and when running command prompt with ipconfig /all there is a NIC with that bad address or wrong subnet.

Resolution
- Got to Control Panel.
- Click on Network and Sharing Center.
- On the left hand side click on Change adapter settings.
- Disable the NIC with the incorrect address.
